Creating Soundworlds

Focusing on the work either of the composer or conductor, these workshops provide direct creative experiences for participants.

Composition workshops for levels from beginner to Advanced Level music students. Most activity takes place within school visits leading to a final performance in a concert venue. In the case of work produced by advanced level students, pieces produced are performed and recorded by English Classical Players.

Aims

To develop creative thinking and confidence through production of creative work
To increase awareness, understanding and enjoyment of orchestral music.
To develop skills in listening and appraisal.

Content

Varies according to the age and experience of participating groups.
Leads to a final performance.
